The purpose of a work - theoretical and practical improvement of the well known principles and development of a complex of new principles destined for constructing mathematical AC machine models. The theoretical statements of the experimental determining electric machines electromagnetic parameters have received further development in a direction of improving account of the periodic current components of a stator winding; those are stipulated by aperiodic currents in a rotor winding, for any given quantity of equivalent and influence of saturation of magnetic flux paths. The developed mathematical models of synchronous and asynchronous machines are represented by analytical expressions and allow to calculate transient processes at stepped disturbances of a stator voltage (sudden symmetric short circuits, switching on the unexcited machines into an electrical system, starting the induction motors etc.) taking into account many equivalent circuits representing a rotor and influence of saturation. For increasing the accuracy of determining the current in a field winding without improving the of equivalent circuits it is offered to use a frequency response characteristic for an operational distribution factor of the stator winding current in the field winding branch. The new approaches to implementation of diagnostics of electric machines state are suggest at operating conditions. The results of R&D are transferred to Ukrainian Research Drawing-and-Designing and Engineering Institute for explosion-proof and mining equipment with pilot-plant, and also to Donetsk department ORGRES.
