The goal of research is development of the set of measures to implement Ukrainian Energy Strategy to supply domestic economy and population with energy resources due to implementation of new technologies using modernization, reconstruction and installation of brand new equipment. The research work utilizes fundamental science approaches, new modeling techniques and mathematical models concerning forecasting of energy system development taking into account sustainable growth of price for energy.The results of the research work show significant changes of the energy consumption structure and volumes due to increase of energy efficiency and use of renewable energy. Realization of recommended measures allows create the efficient generating capacities and coal mines facilities.The research work highlights: low base to realize goals of Ukrainian Energy Strategy according to international obligations (Energy Charter, Kyoto protocol, requirements of the European energy low base); renovation of integrated and efficient control system in energy sector; creation of conditions to decreasing of energy intensity of products; development of export potential of energy sector (first of all — electricity); optimization of domestic energy resources production; diversification of energy resources import; creation of integrated energy statistics, monitoring and strategy planning system.
