Milk yield of cows in 6 selection herds (2336 heads.) for the best lactation is: Ukrainian red- and white 5658 kg, Ukrainian black- and white 5580 kg and Holstein - 6949 kg with contents of fat accordingly 3,75, 3,83 and 3,82 %. The use of livestock will provide the increase of productivity of commodity herds. The most perspective factory lines, family groups and separate breeding-bulls, for the improvement of selection herds are defined. The age standards of linear growth and live weight of heifers for the repair of the Ukrainian red- and white milk breed in the process of their after-calve development are developed. On the basis of the experimental measuring of animals in the process of linear classification target parameters of descriptive signs of exterior are developed. The gradation of a levelof their development in absolute units of measurement responds the same level of an estimation in boundaries of a 9-mark scale for the first-calve cows of the Ukrainian red- and white milk breed which settles to minimize influence of subjective factor on exactness of estimation. With the use of gene pool of Austrian Simmental in the structure of the created Simmental meat breed, the family groups of Morello 8428741443 and Goniga 005230190, which the created factory lines will be on the base of, are formed.
