Karst. і Abies alba Mill. populations of the main forest-forming species of the Ukrainian Carpathians are characterized by high allele and genotypic diversity and by low differentiation level. Relict Pinus sylvestris L. populations of this region have the lowest genetic diversity level in comparison with others populations of this species in Ukraine. In steppe zone with adverse climate conditions, that are strengthened by toxic industrial air pollution impact, P. sylvestris populations maintain high genetic polymorphism level, though it lowers in degrading populations. Seed progeny of such populations is characterized by more low heterozygosity level, though considerable lowering of outcrossing, caused by air pollutants, in P. sylvestris degrading populations is not observed. The level of heterozygosity of the seed embryos is essentially low, compared to maternal trees of different altitudinal belts of Pinus pallasiana D.Don mountain population on the Crimean macroslope. In the whole, the seed embryos samples of the populations of all studied species have essential heterozygote deficiency. Pinus sylvestris plants with the maximum full seed productivity level are characterized by more lower heterozygosity level in comparison with medium-populational one of this species in Ukraine. Plants with maximum of empty seeds have heightened heterozygosity level. Individual heterozygosity of Pinus mugo plants being optimal on level of 26-32% in the Ukrainian Carpathians populations for full seeds crop forming. Marker loci are defined and patented for selecting trees, that produce high amount of heterоzygosity seeds in A. alba and P. pallasiana populations. The most viable populations of 6 arboreal plant species have been selected as the most perspective for dump phytorecultivation. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
