Malaya of Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences" popup.description2 62 patients with stable angina (SA) of effort of II and III functional class, 62 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) without persistent ST segment elevation and 10 healthy volunteers were testified by instrumental (test with reactive hyperemia, treadmill-test) and biochemical (spectrophotometric, enzymatic and immuno-enzyme assay) methods. It was established, that endothelium-protective properties of simvastatin were revealed already through 2 weeks of treatment. It was proved, that simvastatin possessed own antiischemic efficiency which been realized by the end of 4 weeks of therapy in connection with development of lipid-lowering and antiinflammatory effects of preparation. The influence of simvastatin prescription on markers of atherosclerotic process stability (matrix metalloproteinase-9, C-reactive protein) and humoral factors, related with nitric oxide metabolism, in patients with ACS on one month had dose-dependent character. The schemes of simvastatin prescription directed on restoration of functional state of endothelium and potentiation of antiishemic efficency of beta-adrenoblockers in patients with SA and stabilization of proiflammatory markers in patients with ACS were worked out.
