For the first time the yield of cubic BN modification up to 70 mass. % under shock compression has been realized. It is shown that both superhard BN modifications have nanocrystalline structure, and these can be used for manufacturing tools for finishing materials. The new technology for making abrasion powders of Hexanite-R with increased strength and particle size up to 1250 m has been developed, which are destined for power regimes of mechanical working of wear-resistant materials.
