To obtain good interaction of both components, modifiers (compatibilizators) of various chemical natures were used. Liquid rubbers of divers chemical structures, with various chemical compositions, microstructures, and functional groups were used as the modifiers under obtaining rubber-plastics. The new liquid rubbers with hydroxyl groups were synthesized by treating non-functional liquid rubbers with hydrogen peroxide and mercaptoethanol.
