Purpose of research: the elaboration of the scientific-organization measures directed to decrease a number of disability and mortality, which appeared due to traffic accidents, to improve the organization of medical care at traffic accidents before the hospital stage. Methods of research: a copying, an questionnaire, a method of expert estimations, statistical analysis. Theoretical and practical results: basic causes of mortality, physical inability as a result of traffic accidents and factors which assist unsuccessful outcomes due to traffic accidents have been determined. Some defects of medical care before the hospital stage have been found. Present condition of emergency department and the financial provision for various regions of Ukraine have been analyzed.
