The surfaces of BaF2 monocrystals with deposited SnTe nanostructured coating have been experimentally studied. It has been found that the size of the coating nanoobjects does not exceed 20nm and they have the shape of an equilateral trihedral pyramid. The elemental composition of nanoformations is close to the SnTe compound in stoichiometry. The coatings deposited on BaF2 monocrystals have been ascertained to be uniform.
