The nanocrystals size was 5 nm and 20 nm and was controlled by the mode of high-temperature annealing. It was determined that as a result of the quantum-dimension effect a considerable spectrum modification of the vibrational state takes place in nanocrystals Y2SiO5:Pr3+. The concentration decay 1D2 - luminescence of the activator ions in nanocrystals Y2SiО5:Pr3+ was investigated.
