The main goal is the development of new theoretical and experimental methods and their application for studying of physical features of excitation and interaction of electromagnetic modes in the open resonant systems; designed of oscillators, amplifiers and frequency transformers with small supply energy for radiosystems in a millimeter wave band. The methods are an analytical regularization, radiophysical methods of researches of electromagnetic fields and performances of devices. The main results are following: the new rigorous methods of an analytical regularization of boundary - value problems of diffraction are created and new physical effects at resonant scattering of electromagnetic waves by periodic structures with composit materials are found out; the effect of resonant increasing of modes Q-factor in the open resonators with conducting inserts in volume is confirmed; original constructions are developed and radiation sources of the О- and М- type are explored.
