In the F12 generation, it was the most substantial for the gliadin locus of chromosome 6A. The significant change of allele frequencies was observed at the high-molecular-weight glutenin subunit locus Glu-A1. Significant nonrandom associations of nonallelic gliadin blocks in pair combinations as well as in those involving more loci were observed. The general regularity was the predominance of parental allele associations over newly formed ones. This suggests that these gene associations in the studied population were more adaptive. This regularity can be explained by the fact that varieties developed and released in this agroecological zone, and thus adapted to it, served as the parental forms for the population.
