The probes available and sampled during field works have been analyzed. PURPOSE OF WORK: determination of chracteristic peculiarities of chemical composition of Archean charnokitoids and elaboration of criteria of their difference from Proterozoic and Phanerozoic ones. It was established that Paleoarchean enderbits differ from Proterozoic and Mezoarchean ones by considerably lower iron contents in darkcoloured minerals, low concentration of rare earths elements and positive Eu-anomalies in their distribution patterns. METHODS OF INVESTIGATIONS: mineralogical, petrographical, chemical, spectrographic, XR, microprobe analyse, isotopic, ICP MS. RESULTS obtained under fulfilment of the subjects have been published in 1 monography and 16 articles in homeland and foreign journals. NOVELTY OF WORK consistsin the first in Ukraine assumption of restite origin of Paleoarchean enderbites. This model is based on petrological, mineralogical and geochemical data. Certain petrochemical calculations were carried out and peculiaritics of distribution of rare elements as well as isotopical composition of oxygen in charnokitoids were interpreted .
