Nanostructure TiO2-based photocatalysts have been designed for total mineralization of chlorine-containing pesticides. Methods have been proposed of molecular Ge and Si epitaxial heterostructures growth on (100) and (111) faces of crystalline silicon. Within the frameworks of density functional theory method (a) a possibility has been found of the existance ionizied water species within silica surface layer; (b) a probability has been proved of the existance of carbon nanotubes as asymmetric molecules; (c) a possibility pioneered of encapulating small molecules of inorganic substances in the cavities of spherical (SiO2)N nanocells. A mechanism has been proposed of the interaction between negatively charged silica nanoparticle and surface of red blood cell conditioned by a net of hydrogen bonds within water monolayer.
