Goal: to investigate the interplay between electronic structure and properties of above-mentioned systems, to fabricate polymer-metal composites with the functional abilities exceeding those of components. Methods: positron, IR-, X-ray emission and photoelectron spectroscopies, Monte-Carlo and LMТО modeling, magnetic susceptibility, SCQID-magnetometry. Pd nanoclusters are shown to occupy the smallest but the most numerous nanovoids in La capronate.The deacrease of iodine radius in superionic AgI compared with that in alkaline-halide crystals is accounted for the formation of Ag cations around iodine atoms. The models which describe atomic structure of FeSiB and AlYNi metallic glasses were developed. Essential differences were found among МО spectra of СоPt alloys and AuCu or CuPtstructures, as well as their strong sensitivity to ordering.
