It was found that the alfa-elements-to-oxygen abundance ratio is independent on oxygen abundance, this means that the alfa-elements and oxygen are produced by the same massive stars. The radial gradients of oxygen and neon abundances in several galaxies were derived. It is shown that there is an upper limit of the oxygen abundance in galaxies.
