Determination of signal form and magnetic fields tension when using different methods of arc and contact welding in accordance with new standards of Ukraine was organised. It is shown that there is danger of excessing the limiting allowable levels of magnetic fields in some determined ranges of frequencies during contact welding and, under certain conditions, during arc welding.
