The efficiency of TSL of these crystals at beta-irradiation from the source 90Sr:90Y exceeds that of industrial TLD-100 (Li:Mg,Ti) detector by 5-6 times. Obtained were europium-doped SrB4O7 single crystals and cerium-doped SrB4O7 glass. The light sum accumulated by SrB4O7"Eu2+ crystals is by an order higher in comparison with that of TLD-100.
