The objective of the infestigation is development of experimental technology for manufacturing of wire from rhodium, the wire can be used as emitter detector of measuring of heat neuron flow distribution in active zone of nuclear reactors. The method of infestigation is the experimental one. Key parameters for caking, agglomeration of rhodium powder, temperature of hot forging and hot draw of rhodium in the form of half-finished materials, obtained by application of powder metallurgy method, and half-finished materials were selected by experimental method. Experimental works were performed with use of press, pneumatic hammer, swaging machine, rolling mills and drawing-machine. Analytical accompaniment was performed by X-ray fluorescence analysis on "QuanX" spectrometer and optical emission spectrometer "IRIS". Based on literary and experimental data, experimental technology for manufacturing of rhodium emitters in the form of wire was develop.A pilot lot rhodium wire which corresponds to ToR requirements (chemical composition Rh-99,88 %, diameter 0,5+0,02 mm) was produced. A technological guideline on manufacturing of rhodium wire and methodical document on detection of admixtures in rhodium were develop. Sphere of application - atomic power engineering.
