The objective of the investigation is to develop a technology for manufacturing of rhodium wire, to develop parameters and regimes of complexes of consecutive technological processes. The method of investigation is the experimental one. The problem of rhodium wire manufacturing is solved with concurrent development of processing steps, which include the following: obtaining of high-pure rhodium powder (99,5 mass.%) from rhodium concentrate by application of hydrometallurgical methods; the rhodium concentrate is obtained due to the process of rhodium-platinum alloy sharing; thermo-chemical treatment of rhodium powder and pressing under conditions of catalytic reaction of hydrogen oxidation, this reaction causes modifications in morphological characteristics of particles, increase of compacting-ability level and solidity of pressing material; hot pressing of thermal-chemical treatedpowder half-finished material in metallic hermetic vacuum case, that is kept in electrolyte, temperature and pressure are maintained due to effects, that occur when direct current with high density is passed through sealed electrolyte; warm draw of pressed material in metallic case, heating is provided by electrolytic method; separation of rhodium wire from metallic case, its calibration down to diameter 0,5±0,02 mm.
