The regime of rate-controlled sintering for ceramics TiN-TiB2, TiN- AlN and TiN-TiB2-AlN have beet developed. The regime help us to obtain nanocrystalline materials with perfect grains boundaries and high mechanical properties. The problems of grains growth and densification during spark plasma sintering, influence of particles size and peculiarities of electric treatment in presence of liquid phase (which subsequently enhance the contact on the interface) have been explored. The condition of synthesis and consolidation of composites in the system Ti - N - B by High Pressure and Spark Plasma Sintering were investigated.
