The regularities found for the interaction of activated imines with C-, N-, P-, O- and S-centered nucleophiles allow to control chemoselectivity of reactions. The principal possibility of using these compounds for purposeful construction of five- and six-member nitrogen-containing functionalized heterocycles was shown.
