The GMDH efficiency is proved as a method for construction of models with minimum dispersion of forecasting error. The task of the optimum sample division for GMDH is solved. New algorithms for construction of models with the automatic exposure of internal relationships of processes are developed. Applied tasks are solved: forecasting in tasks of the ecological, economic and medical monitoring; design of interrelation of ions with the surface of materials of space vehicles; modeling of process characteristics of welding by the explosion.
