By developing and generalizing the method of boundary interpolation, the simple high-accuracy analytic expressions are built for the stress intensity factors (SIF) for the typical power schemes of exploitation loading the bridge designs and for advancing failure processes. The procedure for approximate calculation the SIF in welded joints with cracks is developed, taking into account that fields of residual stresses change when the crack increases.
