Objective: to determine clinico-psycholopathological peculiarities of neurotic disorders in children in todays socium and to develop a prognosis of their course on the basis of studying the mechanisms of different forms of the disease considering biological, social and psychological factors.Methods: clinico-psychopathological, pathodiagnostic (Kettell, Lusher and Boyko tests, Lychko pathocharacterologic diagnostic questionnaire for adolescents, method for estimating the integrated life quality index), instrumental (EEG),biochemical (dioxyphenilalanin, dophamin, epinephrine, norepinephrine, serotonin, 5-oxyindolacetic acid, methionin) and immunofermental (?-endorphines, leuenkephalines).Theoretical and practical results: there have been determined clinico-psychopathological peculiarities and sexual dimorphism of neurotic disorders in adolescents in the current conditions (an increase in depressive symptomatology, a tendency towards somatization and prolonged type of the pathology course). The role of catecholaminergic, serotoninergic and opiod systems, as well as of melatonin, in neurotic disorders formation has been established. There has been shown contribution of some character accentuation types, mental and social functional levels (quality of life) and the impact of specific psychotraumatic factors on development of the disease. An algorithm for differential diagnostics of neurotic disorders in adolescents has been formulated and a technology for prognostication of the course of such pathological states has been worked out taking into consideration the information value of anamnestic, clinical, biochemical and hormonal findings. Novelty: there have been established clinico-psychopathologic peculiarities of today's development and course of neurotic disorders different forms in adolescents in today's socium. Pathogenetic mechanisms of their formation have been established on the basis of studying neurophysiological, neurochemical and psychological factors. A differential and diagnostic algorithm of neurotic disorders different forms and their course prognosis have been developed. Application fields: children's psychiatry. Effectiveness: prophylaxis of neurotic disorders formation and prevention of their negative course, as well as providing for mental health and social adjustment of children with neurotic disorders.
