This investigation can be used for estimation of possible application of this medium for storing and reproduction of optical information. For moderate intensity of the pump wave (10–100 W/cm2) in a wide region of iodine vapor pressure (5–50 Pa) possible decreasing of a probe wave absorption is about several times and slowing down of a probe wave is about one order of magnitude.
