By means of monitoring the orientations of youth, other age-specific groups and a society as a whole concerning the complex of public and political life problems as well as the main directions of society and priorities of foreign policy reformation, modernization of the national educational sphere and its integration into the European educational space were studied. The manifestations and reasons of spreading of the bribery and corruption as well as other negative phenomena in the educational system were researched. The reason classes and socio-psychological mechanisms which are able to determine the creation and change in public and political orientation were defined. The criteria and indexes of evaluation of the degree of public-political orientations’ unity of modern Ukrainian society were proposed.
