Features of weld formation in welding of similar and dissimilar aluminium alloys have been experimentally studied. It is established that the mechanical properties of the joints, in particular, in fatigue testing, are higher than in fusion welding, this promoting an improvement of the performance and service life characteristics of welded structures.
