Objective – development of physical–chemical methods of dissolution of minerals and rocks, establishment of optimal procedures of analysis of chemical elements in rock and mineral samples, as well as development of methods for determination of non–ferrous, noble and rare–earth metals using modern mass–spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma ICP–MS ELEMENT–2. Research methods – digestion of rocks and minerals employing ultra high purity reagents, preparation of standards in a clean chemical laboratory, mass–spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. Investigation of physical–chemical methods of mineral and rock dissolution, in particular, development of efficient methods of rock and mineral digestion was carried out. Different analytical digestion methods were compared. Extraction coefficient of an element from solid into the solution was used as the main criteria for evaluation of different digestion methods. Extraction coefficient was determined as a ratio between the measured element concentration in the solution to the certified value. Quantitative analysis methods for determination of non–ferrous, noble and rare–earth metals with concentration from 1ppm to 1ppq were developed using certified standards and a mass–spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma. Results can be used for mineral exploration, in geochemistry, geophysics and related fields. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
