The purpose of work is development of methodical recommendations on expert research of vehicles of defence of electric options of different objects. Research methods are the informative and physical design of malfunctions in electric options; systems analysis of circumstances and terms of origin of dangerous situations during functioning of electric options. Classification of vehicles of electric defence on their functional settings is resulted, by principle of action. Scientific and technical information on the technical aspects of origin of malfunctions in electric options in the period of their functioning is studied and analysed, and also during the origin of fires in the apartments and buildings. Experimental researches for determination of quantitative and high-quality indexes which the capacity of vehicles of electric cover in the conditions of origin of emergency situations is characterized pursuant to are conducted. On the basis of data analysis in relation to the origin of emergency situations (fires) as a result of thermal displays of electric current the general charts of expert researches of circuit breakers and safety fuses of electric options are developed.
