Methods of a research: statistical, comparative, expert assessment (evaluation), generalization of historical experience, theoretical search, generalization of domestic experience and results, quantification, normative etc. The basic results. The generalized nature of exchange, as establishments, where the wholesale market regularly operates and the sale and purchase is carried out on the basis of an interrelation of a supply and demand of the standardized goods valuable papers, currency, information etc. Conducted classification of exchanges concerning problems of the nomenclature of the exchange goods, principles of organization, status, sphere and character of activity, form of sharing (participation) in exchange tenders, place and role in world trade. The advanced concept of the exchange goods, classification attributes of the standardized exchange goods (quantitative, quality, price standardization). The analysis of kinds of the exchange agreements is carried out. In result theoretically - methodological researches of exchange transactions is shown, that the commodity exchange executes the purpose: maintenance of insurance of price risk, that is insurance upon possible(probable) changes of the prices, realization of speculative operations, purchase - sale of a cash commodity.
