The review of devices, made on the basis of TWR, is realized. Two variants of nanosecond length SHF radiopulses formers are developed. In one of them the wave energy outlet from resonator is made by means of slotted-guide bridge; in the other - by means of E-tee-joint. As commutating devices, shifters built on the basis of p-i-n diodes, are used. The second variant of the formator is made on the basis of the offered by the authors travelling wave resonator with double-sided actuation. Two variants of microwave measuring converters on the basis of travelling wave resonators - intenference and resonational-scatterometric - are worked out. Prototypes of worked out devices experimentally studied. Constructed devices have some technical and economic advantages incomparison with their analogs.
