This work has proved experimentally, that ABD can reduce vibrations at the above resonance frequencies as well as at the below resonance frequencies and at the resonance itself. There has been developed a method for detailed study of rotation of the vertical rotor by means of high-speed video shooting and a noncontact measuring system with further computer processing of the research data. The research was carried out at the plants, created on the basis of complicated household appliances with vertical axes. The characteristic feature of these machines is the existence of randomly located imbalance, i.e. during the recurrent starts of such a kind of machines, a considerable change of the value and location of imbalance takes place. The means of reducing vibration activity, defined under these conditions, can be applied to the machines with vertical rotating rotors, operating in different sectors of the national economy.
