P., Registration Date 06-03-2007 Organization Institute of Geology and Geochimisfy of Combustile Fuels popup.description2 The connection between the oil and gas presence, types of structures and the style of the local folding of the South Ukraine area was established, and the main factors of the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation were determined; prognostic lithological-facies schemes of the Upper Hauterivian-Aptian and the Upper Albian formations were compiled, five centres of the oil- and gas-forming were distinquished and perspective areas were localized within the limits of the north-western shelf of the Black Sea; it was found that the northern part of the Silurian buried reef and morphostructures situated within its limits is considered to be the most perspective one as regards oil and gas presence; and Vishnivske-Ferapontivka, Lyman and Suvorovsk-Zmiiny zones of the Silurian-Lower Devonian reef-forming were distinquished in the Predobrogea area.
