High sensitivity of ways and the means of an estimation of rate of development of mechanical defects developed on their basis which define a residual resource of turbogenerators is scientifically proved. On the basis of three-dimensional models the developed technique of an estimation thermally intense conditions of elements of the power equipment in real conditions of thermal loading in view of a history of elastic - plastic deformation. On the basis of the received development the technology of prolongation of a resource of the power equipment in conditions of his moral and physical deterioration is offered.
