Studies on the diurnal changes of psychophysiological indices in operators and dispatchers allowed to establish disorders in the phase structure of diurnal rhythms, which in more than 50% cases, are caused by a desynchronized effect of neuro-emotional strain, mobilization, significant volitional efforts in taking over or transmission day and night shifts. The insufficient vegetative provision of mental activity during night shifts caused by the daily decrease of the functional indices of the cardio-vascular system has been revealed. The isolated and combined effect of noise, air temperature, work strain, shift work on the efficiency of mental activity, on heart rate, body temperature, subjective state, phase structure of diurnal rhythms has been established for the first time.
