An apparatus is in this connection created for the receipt of plasma in mixtures of nitrogen and argon in glow or volume arc electric discharge at pressures 0,1-150 Pa. The complex of experimental researches of construction materials surfaces processing is carry out in plasma of such mixtures. The problem of temperature and electron density distribution, as well as electric field distribution, is first decided in plasma of glow discharge between two spherical surfaces, modeling of the real experiment condition. The last one advantageously distinguishes the executed study from the prevailing amount of researches in this area, where application of plasma as a technological atmosphere carried out on the basis of empiric approaches.
