The basic modern peculiarities of structurally-functional organization of community aquatic vegetation are exposed, including plankton and benthos, macro and micro forms, and also representatives of different taxonomical departments. The mechanisms of alteration of vegetable component are described, as reactions on the different condition and level of anthropogenic influence. Recommendations of the practical use of aquatic vegetation are given, as indicator and tools of management by water quality of coastal ecosystem.
