This spectrum is individual for each type of materials and determines potentialities of acoustic methods for its investigation. The methodology of synthesis of the acoustic methods, which are adapted to the characteristic features of the material and having increased sensitivity, has been proposed. Functional and stochastic relationships between acoustic field parameters and effective properties, structural parameters and defects in the materials based on iron and copper powders, discrete copper and nickel fibers, foam metals, AlCuMn-SiC compositions have been found.
