Aim of the work: To study peculiarities of the physical and sexual development of children with endocrine disorders. To develop methods of early diagnostics and treatment of found disturbances. Methods of examination: clinical, biochemical,and instrumental methods, hormonal assays. Results and their novelty: Has been proved that markers of the GH (IGF-1 and IGF-BP-3)are not only diagnostical criteria bat also can serve as criteria of monitoring of the treatment with growth hormone. Has been developed new method of the differentiation diagnosis for pituitary and constitutional dwarfism, based on the determination of the level of the IGF-1. For patients with pituitary insufficiency sexual development was retarded(in majority of cases), normal and sometimes advanced. Have been developed new method of treatment of growth delay in children with spondilo-epiphiseal displasia in puberty.Proved that using gonadotropine—suppressing therapy is beneficial in treatment of precocious, accelerated and normal puberty in cases with unsatisfactory growth prediction, such treatment can increase final height for 5-6 sm. Level of implementation: patents, methodical guidelines, textbook, articles and presentations. Field of application: pediatric endocrinology, children endocrinology, genetics.
