Object of researches: the constructions with the long-term exploitation – made of tubes and big-scale metal constructions; hard-alloy elements of the drill and road heading equipment. Main scientific and technical results: the complex of effective NDT facilities has been created. It consists of two working samples of the devices which are intended for: the detection of defects in the tube wares at the energy and chemical industry (the device for complex eddy-current control); for the express estimation of the remaining operation life of the hard-alloy insertions, which are used in the drilling bit rolling cutters and in the road heading equipment (device for coercivity measurement). The facilities for eddy-current control provide the solution of the following problems: detection of the defects near the material’s surface,control of the material’s structural changes directly at the working objects, measurement of the shell’s thickness etc. The testing sample of the device for the complex eddy-current control has been manufactured on the base of the experimental researches and analysis of the latest developments in this area. The device has been experimentally tested and implemented into practice at the Sumy Machinery Building Company within the framework of the complex NDT of nuclear waste storing boxes for the defects detection of the welding joints of tube-like containers. The device for coercivity measurement of the hard-alloy wares has been developed and manufactured. It consists of two units: the electronic one and the magnetic measurement unit. It gains advantages against the existing analogues from the decreased weight and dimensions as well as from the increased precision of the coercivity measurement. The device has been experimentally tested in the working conditions to control the agglomeration’s quality and estimation of the residual life for the hard-alloy matrixes made of BK-type alloys which are employed in the equipment for the artificial diamonds synthesis and for the estimation of the remaining operation life of the hard-alloy insertions of the drilling tool ware.
