Main results: necessity of using the cell biomarkers to investigate nature and drinking water quality is presented. Optimal battery of bioassay and biomarkers are proposed for determination some structural and functional changes of genome, namely mironucleus assay and nucleolar biomarker, as a result of toxic influence by physical and chemical factors. Special attention is focused on valuation of hazard for human health such chemical substances, witch genotoxicity and cytotoxicity is determining by means plant and animal cells. Capability to use of cells biomarkers is presented as alternative approach to standard methods in human health safety program to obtain additional information about drugs action.
