The purpose of the work: to estimate the technical decisions and capital investment amount for zirconium production development and support of rolled zirconium output required for needs of nuclear fuel manufacture for Ukrainian NPPs. Method of the research: analysis of the engineering specifications, reports and help information. Results of the research: the information has been collected and the condition of the operated zirconium production, scientific, technical and technological potential in zirconium production has been analyzed. The technological circuits, technical decisions and sites have been determined which will facilitate the rolled zirconium production, financial and time resources for rolled zirconium production organization. There has been established that at the Ukrainian nuclear industry's enterprises, it is possible to organize the production of zirconium dioxide, zirconium sponge, zirconium ingot, TREX-tube and rolled zirconium for fuel assembly. The scientific novelty is in use of new technological circuits and equipment during rolled zirconium production. The social importance is in maximal use of local labour, industrial, scientific, technical and other resources, creation of conditions for organization of domestic nuclear fuel manufacture. As a result of the above mentioned Program realization, rolled zirconium output will be achieved in amount required for fuel assembly manufacturing and support of Ukrainian NPPs' needs.
