Description

Research objective is scientific provision of Ukrainian fishery by the fishery base and development of recommendations on fishery improvement in the Black and Azov Seas on the basis of the assessment of the state of living aquatic resources and rational nature use. Research object is the Black and Azov Seas, zooplankton, ctenophores, anchovy, tyulka, sprat, mackerel, herring, haarder, mullets, turbot, sturgeons, fishery aquatic invertebrates and algae. The results obtained are as follows: oceanographic characteristics of habitat, state of food base of commercial fish, invertebrates and aquatic algae in the Black and Azov Seas. The stock of marine living resources was assessed, the prognosis of allowable catches was developed for 2007-2008.5635
