Purpose of the work is development the draft of Norms of rigging of wheeled transport vehicles with portable fire extinguishers. Method of research is analytical (collecting and analysis of normative documents and technical literature concerning technical characteristics of fire extinguishers wheeled transport vehicles of various types). Draft Norms of availability of fire extinguishers have been developed due to carrying out of the research work. They are applied to all types of fire extinguishers for general use that correspond to requirements of DSTU 3675-98 and states requirements as to choosing of their type and necessary quantity depending on specific features of the wheeled transport vehicles to be protected.
