The features of a chemical structure of known miticidal remedy mainly for external use have been detemined, and on the basis of revealed common characteristics, the selection of preparations has been carried out, towards which the supposition concerning their possible ability to systemic influence on demodicides has been put forward. 22 preparations of different pharmacological groups, including antitubercular remedy and an antihelminthic praziquantel preparation have been selected. The regularity of selected way of search of antidemodical preparations with systemic action has been checked by two methods. The first consists in a comparison of a condition of a population of demodicides in the patients receiving antitubercular therapy, and in the people not accepting any preparations during the last six months. It has been established, that complex antitubercular treatment with application of isoniazid, ethionamide, protionamide, pirazinamide and sodium para-aminosalicylate affects on demodicides, really reducing the number of their population in 2,76-2,98 times. The second method consists in determination of the influence of a praziquantel preparation on a population of demodicides in the patients with rosacea, demodicosis and perioral dermatitis. A systemic antidemodical action of a preparation used as monotherapy has been revealed. The reducing number of the population of demodicides in 7,25 times has been established.
