The review of scientific, literary and normative sources, catalogues of road machinery, exhibition documentation is conducted. The modern concept of repair work is not only the elimination of deformations and distresses, but rehabilitation of transport operational indicators of motor road coatings of roads, that is prevention of their emergence, timely definition of areas and causes of possible distresses and mainly their elimination at the early stage of their development, thus to signal the necessity to carry out major repair and full size repair works.
