The thermodynamics and kinetics of EAS interaction with water have been analysed, and the influence of fluid flow dynamics on the reaction rate has been accounted for. Process electric kinetics observed during coal slurry electrolysis has been considered for both the anode and cathode space. The regularities found allowed for identifying scenarios of retrofitting available test benches, refine the research program and identify ways of in-depth theoretical studies in the process.
