The mechanism of hydrogen generation from water and the processes of hydrogenation and hydrolysis of hydrocarbons during their cavitation treatment was substantiated theoretically. The set up of experimental investigations was theoretically substantiated. The mathematical model of cavitation treatment in fluid vortex converters was developed. Preliminary experimental investigations were carried out to confirm the feasibility of developing new hydrocavitation technologies of generating hydrogen for hydrogenation of natural hydrocarbons.
