Techniques have been developed; a test rig has been made, and experiments in heat transfer and aerodynamic resistance of wire helical and helical-toroidal heat exchange surfaces have been conducted. Criteria dependences have been obtained for the heat and aerodynamic characteristics of these surfaces depending on the condition and design parameters under different conditions of air flow to the heat exchange surface.
